Trip Overview

Nepal Multi Sports Adventure is the only trip which has all in one, such as sightseeing, rafting, paragliding, biking, bungee jumping, bird watching, and jungle safari. It also includes a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the two districts of Nepal, such as Kathmandu and Bhaktapur and takes us to the famous viewpoint of Pokhara, like Sarangkot, which offers a panoramic sweep of the Himalayan peaks, for examples Dhaulagiri (8167m), Machhapuchhare (6997m) and Annapurna II (7937m). Nepal Multi Sports Adventure also consists of biking in a single track through a paddy field, villages, uphill and downhill in the valley of Kathmandu, where we will also visit its temples. During paragliding, we will be flying in the sky, enjoying the splendid scenarios of the mountains, such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri and so on. Mahendra Cave which we visit is one of the major tourist attractions of Pokhara. This cave is amazing and has various natural shapes and images of  Hindu gods and goddess, made of limestone.

We will also drive along the winding road that passes through hills and valleys and that runs on the banks of the Trishuli River. Rafting on the Trishuli River is an excellent opportunity to observe what lie just outside the valley of Kathmandu, such as the diversity of demography, landscapes, cultures, flora, and fauna. We will also visit the Chitwan National Park, which is renowned for the protection of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger. There, we will do an elephant ride, walk through dense grassland and come across wild buffaloes, wild boar, deer, and so on. Besides this, we will also be taken to the Rapti River for bird watching and gharial crocodiles. Detailed Itinenary

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1300m/4264ft) Overnight at three-star hotel.

    As soon as we come out of Tribhuwan International Airport, which is in Kathmandu, we will see the representative of Remarkable Adventure Trek, holding its signboard, who will take us to a hotel in a private vehicle. The representative will provide information on dos and don’ts to us, as well as on sightseeing and trekking. This will be done if we arrive in the late evening or at night. But if we arrive in the morning or afternoon, we will be taken to the office of Remarkable Adventure Trek directly, where we will have a meeting, in which, we have to show the copy of our passports, three copies of our passport-sized photos, and a readable copy of our travel insurance policies for our safety to Remarkable Adventure Trek. It is in this meeting that we will be introduced to our guide.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing in the famous historical places in the Valley of Kathmandu and trip prepared meeting Overnight at three-star hotel.

    After breakfast, you will do the sightseeing of the following historical places of Kathmandu by driving in a private vehicle. You will be accompanied by the city guide of Remarkable Adventure Trek. If you had arrived at night on Day 01, then you would have a meeting today in the afternoon after your sightseeing. Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Nepal.  Most of the buildings that you see in this square date from 15th to 18th century. The major Interesting things to see here are “Kumari (The Living Goddess) Gar” “Kastha Mandap” Maru Ganesh, Mahadev Temple, Shiva-Parvati Temple, Bhagwati Temple, Old Palace, Saraswati Temple, Krishna Octangular Temple, Big Drums, Kal Bhairav, Jagannath Temple, and Taleju Temple. Pashupatinath is one of the main temples of the Hindus, which is a world heritage site, and which lies on the bank of the Bagmati River. Only the Hindus are allowed to go inside this temple, and they can also be seen on the bank of the Bagmati River, worshipping and praying in the small temples of the Hindu gods and goddesses. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a palace, a famous palace of Nepal and comprises Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla and the temples, which have beautiful architectural designs. It is located 13 km away from Kathmandu and constitutes of 55 Windows Palaces, Batsala Temple, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Golden Gate, Lion Gate, and Mini Pashupatinath. Some of these are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Boudhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and has four pairs of eyes. Each represents those eyes of Lord Buddha. You will find the people from all religions going around this stupa and spinning its prayer wheels. You will also find this stupa the single largest chorten in the world.

  • Day 3 Drive to Charaundi for rafting, reach Muglin and drive to Pokhara; Overnight at hotel.

    We drive to Charaundi for rafting. Rafting on the Trishuli River is an excellent opportunity to observe the diversity of demography, landscapes, and cultural heritage and the flora and fauna. Upon reaching Mugling, we drive to Pokhara.

  • Day 4 Paragliding and Sightseeing in Pokhara valley and Overnight at hotel.

    Pokhara is one of the world’s best places for paragliding because it has all the things that paragliding needs. The pilots with whom we are paragliding have an international license. We can also do paragliding without a pilot if we are experienced paraglider. The paragliding in Pokhara takes off from Sarangkot and flies in the skies of Sarangkot and lands near the Phewa Lake at Pokhara. The time from 11:30 A.M onwards is the best time for paragliding, and we will be flying in the sky seeing the splendid scenarios of the Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri ranges. In the afternoon, we will do the sightseeing of the following interesting places of Pokhara. Bindhyabasini Temple is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati. This Bhagwati is Pokhara Guardian deity, and her another name is Shakti or Kali. Bhagwati is also known as a blood-thirsty aspect of Goddess. Mahendra Cave is one of the major tourist attractions of Pokhara. The cave is amazing and has the various natural shapes and images of the various Hindu gods and goddess, made of limestone. Davis Falls is a fall, whose water forms an underground tunnel after reaching the bottom. On 31 July 1961, a Swiss couple Davi went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit because of the overflow. Her body was recovered 3 days later in the Pure River with a great effort. Her father wished to name it “Davis falls” after her. Its Nepali name is Patale Chango, which means “underworld waterfall”. Fewa Lake is one of the attractions of Pokhara for the tourists and locals. Thousands of Nepalis visit for recreation and enjoyment. The north shore of the lake has developed into a tourist district, commonly called Lake-Side, with hotels, restaurants, and bars, catering to the tourists. Barahi Temple is located on an island in Phewa Lake. This Hindu temple in Nepal is dedicated to Ajima, representative of the force of Shakti. Shakti is the Hindu mother goddess who is the origin of universal creativity and power. Shakti as a feminine power assumes several roles. In the form of Durga, Shakti protects the gods from demons. Both local inhabitants of Pokhara and tourist alike flock to the Barahi temple regularly.

  • Day 5 Hike to Sarangkot and Overnight at hotel.

    After breakfast, we hike to Sarangkot, which is located on the hilltop(1608 m./5275 ft) and one of the best viewpoint to see the sunrise over the magnificent snow capped Himalayan ranges including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges.

  • Day 6 View Mountain from Sarangkot, drive to Pokhara and do bungee jumping and overnight in a hotel.

    From Sarangkot, you will see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid that is Machhapuchhare (6997m) and the rounded peak of Annapurna II (7937m) in the east when the sun picks out the peaks in brilliant colors. After this, we drive to Pokhara for the highest river touching bungee jumping,

  • Day 7 Drive to Chitwan National Park and Overnight at resort.

    After breakfast, we will drive to Chitwan National park, the first national park of Nepal, along the winding road that passes through hills and valleys and that runs by the Trishuli River. There are more then 43 species of mammals, one-horned rhinoceros, tiger and gharial crocodile along with many others species of wild animals in the park.

  • Day 8 Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park; Overnight at resort.

    There are more than 43 species of mammals in Chitwan National Park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of the endangered one- horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and gharial crocodile. We will do an elephant ride in a jungle through dense grassland to see the Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, buffaloes, deer, and so on.  After breakfast, we visit elephant stables, and if we get an opportunity then we will bathe the elephants. Besides this, we will do a nature walk. We will also be taken to the Rapti River for bird watching. There, we can view a host of astonishing birds which include the Chestnut-capped Babbler, Small Pratincole, Blue-bearded Bee-eater, River Lapwing, Long-tailed Shrike, Emerald Dove, White-browed Wagtail, Collared Falconet, Changeable Hawk-eagle, Brown Crake, Red Junglefowl, Indian Peafowl, Striped Tit-babbler, Jungle Owlet, Black-rumped, Himalayan and Greater Flamebacks, Red-headed Trogon, Small Minivet, Spot-winged Starling, Hill Myna and Chestnut-crowned, Pale-footed and Spotted Bush-warblers.

  • Day 9 Drive to Kathmandu and farewell dinner at the typical Nepali restaurant Overnight at three-star hotel.

    After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu, located 175 kilometers from Chitwan National Park. We drive in a tourist vehicle along the winding road that passes through hills and valleys that run on the banks of the Trishuli River.

  • Day 10 Biking in and around Kathmandu Valley Overnight at three-star hotel.

    We will bike in a single track through the paddy field, villages and both uphill and downhill. There are many variations on this route so can choose and take assistance from your guide depending on your fitness. In the evening, we will be invited for a farewell dinner at Nepalese restaurant with the traditional cultural show.

  • Day 11 Departure from Kathmandu. From the hotel, before 3 hours.

    From the hotel, before 3 hours, you are picked up for your international flight and taken to Tribhuwan International Airport. Remarkable Adventure Trek would like to thank you for visiting Nepal.     Remarkable Adventure Trek operates and runs all high altitude treks and climbs with the support of our expert and veteran guides who has been in these profession for more than two decades, all our guide have undergone with much training and attending workshop on related fields every year like Medical Course with enough knowledge of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) and proper use of Gamma Bag or Portable Altitude Chamber (PAC) pressure bags when required on emergency purpose on high AMS symptoms and to work on minor medical problem treatments.

    Causes of Altitude Mountain Sickness:

    • Altitude mountain sickness is caused by reduced of air pressure with lower oxygen levels at high altitude.
    • The faster you climb to a high elevation, more likely you will get altitude or acute mountain sickness (AMS).

    Symptoms:

    • Difficulty in sleeps.
    • Dizziness or light-headed.
    • Fatigue.
    • Headache.
    • Loss of appetite.
    • Nausea or vomiting.
    • Rapid pulse (heart rate).
    • Shortness of breath with exertion.

     Treatment:

    • Altitude mountain sickness is easier to treat in the early stage.
    • The main treatment for all forms of mountain sickness is to go down (descend) towards lower altitude as fast you can with support of our guide and staff.
    • Extra oxygen should be given, if available.
    • People with severe altitude mountain sickness should be admitted to a hospital or evacuated by any means of transportation the fastest is by Helicopter.
    • Remarkable Adventure Trek suggests you Polyacrylamide (Diamox) because this medicine helps you to feel better if you are trekking in high altitude areas.
    • It also helps you to reduce mild symptoms. This medicine works best when you take it before you start gaining much higher altitude. Beside our advice please consol with your doctor.

     While climbing higher elevation:

    • Drink plenty of fluids (water-plain black tea-lemon-tea or nutritional value drinks).
    • Avoid alcohol
    • Eat a lot of garlic’s (this is local way fighting altitude).
    • You should avoid high altitudes if you have heart or lung disease.

    Note: In case of emergency, you will be immediately airlifted by Helicopter to Kathmandu.
